The Shiraz grapes are 100% grown on a high quality vineyard in the Heathcote wine region of Victoria, handpicked by Terry Monichino, so only the best quality grapes have been slected. Using traditional methods of hand plunging in small fermenters, the wine was then aged in new French and American Oak for 18 months.
Tery Monichino is the winemaker of this medium bodied Shiraz which delivers intense menthol and berry on the nose. The wine expands further on the palate with rich plum, raspberry and redcurrant characteristics. A well balanced wine, with mouth filling flavours and a long satisfying finish.
Cellaring potential 8 years.
Serve with Lamb, goat, or duck dishes.
