Spring has sprung and we are looking forward to a successful Vintage this year.
Terry is excited about his new plantings in the vineyard and the re structure of our family winery.
He will now be specialising in selected grape varieties and is concentrating on wines of premium quality.
Our Single Vineyard premium range uses only the best quality grapes that have been hand selected on our Katunga Estate Vineyard. By using traditional methods of hand plunging in small fermenters, this brings out the very best outcome for the wines then the wines are then aged in new French and American oak for 18 months.

FARMGATE TO PLATE
Monichino Wines are working with the Farmgate to Plate initiative with
Murray Regional Tourism and Moira Shire.
As demand for our produce and tourism experiences increases, the farm gate has been established to provide an opportunity for farmers and land owners in the region to learn about how to improve their food or agribusiness to benefit this trend.
Regionality with specialists in food, wine and agritourism are key. Keeping farmily farmers on the land with new innovation, and creating alternative or additional income streams with their produce and wine.
Our visiting tourists expect to experience the local fresh produce and wines of this region. Our local restaurants and cafes are on board and we are supplying thier needs with boutique, award winning wines of our region.
